Recommended Conferences for Skin Lesions

Skin Lesions

As per available reports about 64 Conference Proceedings, 8 Conferences and 1 relevent journals are published by OMICS International relevant to Skin diseases.

skin lesion is a part of the skin that has an abnormal growth or appearance compared to the skin around it. Skin lesions can be grouped into two categories: primary and secondary. Primary skin lesions are variations in color or texture that may be present at birth, such as moles or birthmarks, or that may be acquired during a person's lifetime, such as those associated with infectious diseases (e.g. warts, acne, or psoriasis), allergic reactions (e.g. hives or contact dermatitis), or environmental agents (e.g. sunburn, pressure, or temperature extremes). Secondary skin lesions are those changes in the skin that result from primary skin lesions, either as a natural progression or as a result of a person manipulating (e.g. scratching or picking at) a primary lesion. Numerous distinctive medications exist.

OMICS International organises 1000+ Global Events every Year in Conference series, on Clinical, Medicine, Pharma and Science & Technology every year across USA, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Australia and UK with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members.

Importance and Scope

Skin lesions can be caused by a wide variety of conditions and diseases. A tendency toward developing moles, freckles, or birthmarks may be inherited. Infection of the skin itself by bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites is the most common cause of skin lesions. Acne, athlete's foot (tinea pedis), warts, and scabies are examples of skin infections that cause lesions. Allergic reactions and sensitivity to outside environmental factors can also lead to the formation of skin lesions. Underlying conditions can also precipitate the appearance of skin lesions. For example, the decreased sensitivity and poor circulation that accompanies diabetes mellitus can contribute to the formation of extensive ulcers on extremities such as the feet. Infections of body's entire system can cause the sudden onset of skin lesions. For example, skin lesions are a hallmark symptom of such diseases as chicken pox, herpes, and small pox. Cancers affecting the skin, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma, and Kaposi's sarcoma, are recognized by their lesions.
