Flora

OMICS International has published 66 Open Access articles along with 251 conference proceedings, 5 upcoming conferences related to flora. Moreover, around along with 27 symposiums are going to be hosted all across the globe related to Flora.

Flora is the plant life occurring in a particular region or time, generally the naturally occurring or indigenous native plant life. The corresponding term for animal life is fauna. Flora, fauna and other forms of life such as fungi are collectively referred to as biota. Bacterial organisms, algae, and other organisms are sometimes referred to as flora, so that for example the terms bacterial flora and plant flora are used separately. “Flora" comes from the Latin name of Flora, the goddess of plants, flowers, and fertility in mythology. Plants are grouped into floras based on region, period, special environment, or climate. Regions can be geographically distinct habitats like mountain vs. flatland. Floras can mean plant life of a historic era as in fossil flora. Lastly, floras may be subdivided by special environments.

OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events every year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more Scientific Societies and Publishes 700+ Open Access Journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The Conference Series website will provide you list and details about the conferences organized across the globe.

Scope and Importance :
The study of plants is vital because they underpin almost all animal life on Earth by generating a large proportion of the oxygen and food that provide humans and other organisms with aerobic respiration with the chemical energy they need to exist. Plants, algae and cyanobacteria are the major groups of organisms that carry out photosynthesis, a process that uses the energy of sunlight to convert water and carbon dioxideinto sugars that can be used both as a source of chemical energy and of organic molecules that are used in the structural components of cells. As a by-product of photosynthesis, plants release oxygen into the atmosphere, a gas that is required by nearly all living things to carry out cellular respiration. In addition, they are influential in the global carbon and water cycles and plant roots bind and stabilise soils, preventing soil erosion. Plants are crucial to the future of human society as they provide food, oxygen, medicine, and products for people, as well as creating and preserving soil.

Agriculture is a vital industry in China, ranks 1st in the farming output. It produces food for 20% of the world population. Major farming products include Rice, Wheat, Potatoes, Sorghum, Tea, Cotton, Oil seeds, Chick peas, livestock and fishing. The Agriculture industry is the main sector in the China in terms of turnover, value added and employment and output according to the IMF and The World Factbook. India, EU, USA, Nigeria, Brazil etc., are the largest agricultural commodities producingcountries followed by China. Every year, the China’s agricultural products output worth around $1,036 billion.

China produces food for around 20% world’s population. China greatly increased agricultural production through organizational and technological improvements. Today, China is both the world's largest producer and consumer of agricultural products. The most important challenge facing by china now-a-days is Inefficiencies in the agricultural market. It is the largest importer of soybeans and other food crops.
