That includes the standardized measures in the study of brain intellectual relations. They use neuropsychological results to assess cognitive deficits, and they are involved in the management, treatment and rehabilitation of cognitively behaviour patients.  Neuropsychology is the development of models and methods for understanding brain abnormalities.

Modern neuropsychology has growth in the late 20th century, when animals and humans with brain and nervous system injuries explained by some of the first neuropsychologists. Actually, the researches were not revealed for some, partly because they were mentioned in German, and this field came to a halt in the early 20th century.

The field of neuropsychology started to make a comeback after World War II, when doctors found the need to treat of head injuries. In the 1960's, psychologists visited the studies done in the late 19th century, and the field has grown rapidly since. Some neuropsychologists, for instance, work primarily as researchers. This might involves studying both healthy humans, and with brain injuries or illnesses.
