Kaohsiung city is one among the five special cities under the administration of Taiwan. Kaohsiung sits on the south-western shore of Taiwan. Kaohsiung city hold a population around 2.9 million, it is also mentioned as the second biggest city in Taiwan. It possesses the history of hosting city of the World Games 2009. Kaohsiung is positioned south of the Tropic of Cancer. The weather is tropic, particularly a tropical drenched and dry climate, with standard temperatures ranging from between 18.6 o C and 28.7o C. In recent years, the weather condition in Kaohsiung is pretty good. Kaohsiung holds important part in the education system of Taiwan where about 31 Universities and Colleges were located in the city and these was major contribution of research activities from the city. The city is also renowned for night markets such as Liouhe, Rueifong, and Guanghua, and you can enjoy the night view of Love River and sea.
