As per available reports about 1 relevant journal, 2 Conferences are presently dedicated exclusively to Minimally Invasive Surgeries and about 70 articles are being published on Minimally Invasive Surgeries.
Minimally invasive surgery refers to surgery that can be done through a few small incisions instead of a large open incision. One of the main goals of minimally invasive surgery is to reduce the physical trauma patients may experience during and after open surgery. Minimally invasive surgery is often referred to as laparoscopy. Minimally invasive surgery can take longer than conventional surgery, but the pros usually outweigh the cons. Because the incisions are small, the child usually feels less pain, has less scarring, and may recover more quickly than with conventional surgery.
OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events Every Year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The conference series website will provide you list and details about the conference organize worldwide. OMICS Group Journals encourages original and well researched articles for publication. Scope and Importance:
During a minimally invasive procedure, surgeons make several small incisions in the skin just a few millimetres, in some cases. A long, thin tube with a miniature camera attached at the end (called an endoscope) is passed through one of the incisions. Images from the endoscope are projected onto monitors in the operating room so surgeons can get a clear (and magnified) view of the surgical area. Special instruments are passed through the other openings. These instruments allow the surgeon to perform the surgery by exploring, removing, or repairing whatever's wrong inside the body. OMICS Group International is a combination of Open Access publications and worldwide international science conferences and events. It was established in the year 2007 with the aim of making the information on Sciences and technology ‘Open Access’. OMICS Group also organizes 1000+ Global Events annually across the globe, where knowledge transfer takes place through debates, round table discussions, poster presentations, workshops, symposia and exhibitions.
A recent study by Transparency Market Research forecasts that the global minimally invasive surgery market will grow at a CAGR of 10.5% between 2013 and 2019. TMR a market intelligence firm based in the United States, in its report states that the global minimally invasive surgery market, which was valued at US$25.03 billion in 2012, will reach a worth of US$50.60 billion by 2019.
