    Arduino Mangoni trained in Cardiology, Clinical Pharmacology, and General Medicine in Milan, Boston, and London. He was appointed as Senior Lecturer at Flinders University (Adelaide, Australia) in 2003. After being promoted to Associate Professor in 2007 he took up the Chair in Medicine of Old Age at the University of Aberdeen in 2009. During his training in Clinical Pharmacology he spent 1 year as visiting scientist at the Neuroscience and Clinical Pharmacology Units, GSK, Harlow, UK.    BIOGRAPHY

    Antoine Malek has completed his Ph.D at the age of 29 years from Biochemistry Institute of University Zurich. His postdoctoral studies, which were provided by a fellowship of the Food and Drug Administration for two years in USA, conducted in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, and Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Arkansas, and National Center of Toxicology Research (NCTR), Little Rock/ Jefferson, AR. He is the Head of Placental Research Group of the Obstetrics Department, University Hospital Zurich. He has published more than 60 papers in reputed journals.     Biography :
    Pankaj B. Desai is currently Professor and Director, Drug Development Graduate Program, College of Pharmacy, University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH. His research interests include pre-clinical and clinical studies on drug metabolism, transport and pharmacokinetics. The current focus of his laboratory is on the regulation of drug-metabolizing enzymes and its relevance to clinical pharmacology of anti-cancer and antiretroviral drugs. Dr. Desai directs a vigorous, extramurally-funded research program and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. His research has been funded by NIH, Komen Foundation, American Cancer society and various pharmaceutical companies. He has mentored over 20 MS/Ph.D. students and was the principal architect for the novel graduate curriculum in drug development program at UC College of Pharmacy. Dr. Desai is an active member of several organizations including American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, where he served as the chair of the Drug Metabolism Focus Group of AAPS from 2001-2003. He is currently a member of the Shulman Associates Institutional Review Board and of the Transitional Research and Drug Development (TRADD) Committee and Phase I /Early Clinical Pharmacology sub-committee of the Adults AIDS Clinical Trials Group. He also serves as a member of the Experimental Therapeutics Study Section for Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program. Dr. Desai has received numerous teaching and research excellence awards at both University of Louisiana and University of Cincinnati. These include the Researcher of the Year Award at ULM in 1994 and the President Excellence Award at UC in 2006.     BIOGRAPHY

    Dr. Sheryl L. Szeinbach is professor at Ohio State University, College of Pharmacy. Her Ph.D. is from Purdue University, MS from the University of Kentucky, and BSPharm from the University of Texas, Austin.  Dr. Szeinbach has mentored over 30 graduate students, and has published over 300 research articles and abstracts.  Her research has been featured on NBC news, CBS Early Show, Reader’s Digest, and The Wall Street Journal. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Rho Chi.    BIOGRAPHY

    Dr. Raphael Serreau upon completion of his doctorate in Pharmacology at the University of Paris V Rene Descartes in 2007 about Risk Management Plan during pregnancy and breastfeeding, he joined the Center of Clinical Research in Cochin and Necker Hospital in Paris in 2005 where he directed research combining Perinatology and Pharmacology research. (www.premup.org). This led to the development of a structure in “Institut de Puericulture de Paris” called Medic-Al network.
