    Shayesta Dhalla recently completed her PhD in the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver Canada in May 2010. She is planning for a postdoctoral position. She is also a physician and completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2002 and went on to complete a Masters of Health Science MHSc degree also in the School of Population and Public Health in 2005. Her thesis consisted of an HIV vaccine preparedness study in injection drug users in Vancouver. She has presented her work overseas.
