Microbial Ecology 2018 Report

2nd International Conference on Microbial Ecology & Eco Systems was organized during July 11-12, 2018 at Toronto, Canada. The conference was marked with the attendance of Editorial Board Members of supporting journals, Scientists, young and brilliant researchers, business delegates and talented student communities representing more than 25 countries, who made this conference fruitful and productive.

This conference was based on the theme “Challenges and Solutions for the backbone of all ecosystems” which included the following scientific tracks:

The Organizing Committee would like to thank the moderator Dr. Taha Nazir (ICDTD Inc., Canada) and which resulted in smooth functioning of the conference.

The conference proceeded through various scientific sessions and plenary lectures, of which the following topics were highlighted as Keynote presentations:

Ruliang Pan- The devastated ecosystem and it impacts on China’s wellbeing (Ruliang Pan, University of Western Australia, Australia)

Zhanging Hao- The effect of intraspecific trait variation on the detecting of community assembly across successional stages (Zhanging Hao, Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China)

Elsayed Abdel-Sattar El-Meleigy- Use of water separated from crude oil in the cultivation of wood trees and economic plants and biofuels production through phytoremediation (Elsayed Abdel-Sattar El-Meleigy, Suez Canal University, Egypt)

William F Basener- The fundamental theorem of natural selection with mutations, and mutation accumulation in small populations (William F Basener, Rochester Institute of Technology, USA)

Maha Hamdy- Improvement of compliance to hand hygiene (HH) best practice as one of the patient safety goals (PSGs) at Al Zaytoon specialized Governmental Hospital, Cairo-Egypt (Maha Hamdy, Ain Shams University, Egypt)

Nadiya Boyko- Microbiome of soil, plants and humans, the ways and mechanisms of their interrelation, role in P4 and IT- medicine (Nadiya Boyko, Uzhhorod National University, Ukraine)

We are glad to inform that all accepted abstracts for the conference have been published in Journal of Journal of Ecosystem & Ecography: Open Access as a special issue.

We are also obliged to various experts, company representatives and other eminent scientists who supported the conference by facilitating the discussion forums.
