The International Conference on Integrative Biology Summit (Integrative Biology-2013) took place at the Embassy Suites Las Vegas, USA. It was organized by OMICS Group and saw a good response from the scientific community. The conference was well received with participation from Integrative Biology-2013 Organizing Committee Members, researchers, scientists, technologists and students from various parts of the world. The two day program witnessed thought provoking speeches from experts which focused on the theme “Accelerating Computational Approaches to Biological Research”.

The day featured formal presentations from key researchers as well as time for questions and informal discussion. Keynote sessions were delivered by great speakers, which included

The conference was chaired by Dan Ophir, Jeffrey Zheng, Frederic Pio, Samad Jahandideh and David S. Holmes.

During the conference, a workshop was presented by Dr. Raul Cuero, International Park of Creativity Invention Center, USA – Colombia. The title for the workshop was “How to Effectively Implement Integrative Biology, Using Synthetic Biology”.  
Along with the participants of Integrative Biology-2013, we would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Raul Cuero for his special appearance and extreme support towards the conference.

Students from various parts of the world took active participation in poster presentations. Students who presented best posters were awarded for their outstanding contribution in the field of Integrative Biology.

The warm support and suggestions from all the participants, inspires us in organizing “2^nd International Conference on Integrative Biology Summit” which will be held during August 04-06, 2014 Chicago, USA.
