Past Conference Report: Dental Health 2016

Conference Series LLC Ltd. organized the 14^th International Conference on Dental Health 2016 at DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport; Brisbane, Philadelphia, USA during September 14-16, 2016  with a focus on “The Future Vision and Current Advancements in Dentistry”. It was a great success where eminent keynote speakers from various reputed universities, dental associations and organizations made their resplendent presence and addressed the gathering.

Dental Health-2016 Organizing Committee would like to thank the Moderator of the conference Dr Lucy Badish, University of Pennsylvania, USA, Dr. Marjana Knezevic, University of Pennsylvania, USA and Dr Isabelle Machado de Holanda, Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil who contributed enormously for the smooth functioning of this event.

Dr. Giancarlo Pongione, Pongione Dental Office, Italy conducted a workshop on “TF adaptive and elements free” and Dr. Jenner Oscarly Argueta Zepeda, Academia de Endodoncia de Guatemala, Guatemala conducted a workshop on “Simplicity and innovation in endodontics” and Dr. Julián Conejo, University of Pennsylvania, USA conducted a workshop on “Optimized Bonding and Material Selection for Chair-side CAD/CAM Dentistry” on September 14, 15 and  16, 2016 respectively in connection with this conference as a curtain raiser to this topics.

Dr. Maxine Feinberg, Immediate President American Dental Association, USA presented a paper on “Improving overall health through interprofessional collaboration: A new age”; Dr.Ronald S Brown, Howard University, USA gave a presentation on “Defining the etiopathophysiology is the key with respect to the mechanism of drug-induced gingival overgrowth (DIGO)”. Dr. David Mazza, University of Maryland, USA presented on “Optimum aesthetics- in dentistry”; Dr. Giancarlo Pongione of Pongione Dental Office, Italy enlightened the audience with his presentation “Minimally invasive approach to the restoration of the anterior teeth”; Dr. Tatiana Clementino, Private Dental Practitioner from Brazil elucidated on “Minimally invasive procedures for achievement of facial harmony”;  Dr. Eduardo Sorgi, from CETAO Institute, Brazil described about “Minimally invasive intervention in aesthetic regions: Surgical and prosthetic details in anterior rehabilitation”;  Dr. Lyusya (Lucy) Badishyan from University of Pennsylvania, USA explained about the “Lasers in periodontal wound healing: Dream or reality?”; Dr. T Andre Shirdan from The Crew Process Media, USA gave the presentation on the “Title: Stat-Ck- Periodontal conditions classified and dimystified in simple language and treatment methods”; Dr. Jenner Oscarly Argueta Zepeda from Academia de Endodoncia de Guatemala, Guatemala gave his presentation on “Title: Simplicity and innovation in endodontics”; Dr. Shih Chieh Andy Lo from Taipei Medical University, Taiwan enlightened the audience with his presentation entitled “Ridge augmentation of the anterior maxilla soft and hard tissue in aesthetic considerations”; Dr. Nissaf Daoauhi from Dalenda Hadyaoui and Mounir Cherif, Tunisia gave a video presentation on “Creating natural aesthetic smile using all ceramic restaorations” and Dr. Nabila Jamil, from Bangladesh University of Health Sciences, Bangladesh presented a video about the “Palliative care: Role of a dentist”; Dr. Isabelle Machado de Holanda, from Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil enlightened the audience with her  presentation on “Associated dental anomalies and the genetic aetiology: A twins study case”

Dr. Marjana Knezevic, from University of Pennsylvania, USA gave her presentation on “Human papillomaviruses in lesions of the oral mucosa”; Dr. Isabelle Machado de Holanda, from Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil “gave a paper presentation on “Digital workflow for multidisciplinary diagnosis and dental treatment plan”; Dr.Julián Conejo, from University of Pennsylvania, USA conducted a workshop on “Optimized Bonding and Material Selection for Chairside CAD/CAM Dentistry” on September 16, 2016.

Dr. Yong Kun Kim, from University of Pennsylvania, USA presented his paper on “Advancements in bone biology and dental implants”; Dr. Analucia Gebler Philippi, who attended  the conference from Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil gave her presentation on “Relationship between denture wearing and swallowing”

This conference was a path-breaking opportunity for students too, were given a chance to exhibit their paramount research work through Poster Presentations and discuss the same with the exalted scientists.

All the papers presented at Dental Health 2016 have been published in the proceedings of the Journal of Dentistry.
