Conference Series LLC LTD conducted the International Conference and Expo on Cataract and Optometrists Meeting 2016 during August 04-05, 2016 at Manchester, UK that was organized with a focus on “Vision corrections by reconstructive, cataract and refractive surgeries: ophthalmologist’s outlook”. It was a great success where eminent keynote speakers from various reputed universities and organizations made their resplendent presence and addressed the gathering.

Cataract and Optometrists Meeting 2016 Organizing Committee would like to thank the Moderator of the conference, Dr. Samantha Harding, Royal College of Ophthalmologists, UK, who contributed enormously for the smooth functioning of this event.

The highlights of the meeting were the eponymous lectures, delivered by Dr. Randall J Olson from University of Utah John A Moran Eye Center, USA, Dr. Iva Dekaris from University Eye Hospital ‘Svjetlost’, Croatia, and Dr. Paul Dougherty from Dougherty Laser Vision, USA. These talks were of great interest to the general ophthalmologists and were enormously informative.

Dr. Michael O’ Keeffe, Mater Private Hospital, Republic of Ireland conducted a workshop on “Congenital cataract surgery” on August 04, 2016 in connection with this conference as a curtain raiser to this topic.

Dr. Mark Fountain, Healthcare Business Solutions, UK and Mr. Jon Bhargava, Ophthalmologist, UK conducted a special session on “How to Make Money from Cataracts” on August 04, 2016.               Dr. Fuxiang Zhang also conducted a special session on “IOL Monovision: Pearls, pitfalls and contraindications” on August 05, 2016. These 2 days of discussions enabled professionals to gain an insight into the current innovations and opened up networking opportunities.
