Biostatistics 2015 Report

The 4th International Conference and Exhibition on Biometrics & Biostatistics was held in San Antonio, USA during November 16-18, 2015.

Biostatistics 2015 was based on the theme of “An Insight into Advanced Research Technologies in Biometrics & Biostatistics”. The highly exalted conference hosted by OMICS International was marked with the attendance of Biostatistics and Biometrics experts, business & academic delegates and talented students representing more than 15 countries around the world. The conference emphasized on the recent advances and researches in the field of biostatistics such as clinical biostatistics, clinical trials, meta-analysis etc. and the statistical methodology and clinical research.

The primary focus of the conference was on subjects like Medical and Clinical Biostatistics, Statistical and Computing Methods, Bayesian Statistics, Regression Analysis, Bioinformatics, Computer Science and Systems Biology, Modern Data Analysis, Adaptive Biometric Systems, Biometric Security, Emerging and Future Applications of Biometrics and Cyber Security. The three days event implanted a firm relation of upcoming strategies in the field of Biometrics & Biostatistics between the scientific and the industrial community. The conceptual and applicable knowledge shared, will also foster organizational collaborations to nurture scientific accelerations. Biostatistics 2015 conference was a balance between Biometrics and Biostatistics and was not only novel but an excellent concept as it promoted quite a bit of cross disciplinary discussion.

We are thankful to all our speakers for encouraging and supporting us to conduct the conference and catapulting the same to pinnacle of success.

The Organizing Committee would like to thank the moderators, Dr Abdel-Salam Gomaa Abdel-Salam of Qatar University, Qatar and Dr Abbas F Jawad of University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA for their contribution and support which resulted in smooth functioning of the conference.

A series of invited lectures by Honorable guests and members of the Keynote Forum marked the commencement of the event. Prominent people like Dr Ken Williams of KenAnCo Biostatistics and University of Texas Health Science Center, USA, Dr Abbas F Jawad of University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA, Dr Altaf H Khan of King Abdullah International Medical Research Center, Saudi Arabia, Dr Mikhail Moshkov of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia, Dr Joel Michalek of University of Texas, USA, Dr Ahmed A Bahnassy of King Fahad Medical City, Saudi Arabia, Dr Ajit Kumar Roy of Central Agricultural University Tripura, India; gave their fruitful contributions in the form of highly informative presentations and made the conference an intimate yet extremely productive meeting of professionals. Additionally, in order to promote the spread of Biometrics and Biostatistics in the future scientists and engineers, a Young Researcher Forum was conducted at the conference, in which young and enthusiastic students from renowned institutions like Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Colombia, University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa, The University of Texas, USA, National Taiwan University, Taiwan, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, National College of Business Administration and Economics (NCBA&E), Pakistan, Florida State University, USA have participated. We also want to put on record our appreciation to every single delegate who had been present at this international congress. 

OMICS 4th International Conference and Exhibition on Biometrics & Biostatistics, Biostatistics 2015 would not have been a success without the support of International, Multi-Professional Steering Committee and Coordination from Journal of Applied & Computational Mathematics; Journal of Biometrics & Biostatistics; Journal of Computer Science & Systems Biology, to whom we express our deep sense of gratitude.
