4^th International Conference on Biomarkers & Clinical Research, the Biomarker- 2013, was recently held during July 15-17, 2013 at Philadelphia, USA.

OMICS Group Biomarkers- 2013 have churned up the scientific thoughts and has proved the importance of disease diagnostics to be prevital towards the curing efficacy; thus generated the research methodologies towards grounding a scientific gathering with the theme impact of “Biomarkers Development in Health Diagnostics and Clinical Research”. The discovery or invention of cure for any disease or disorder lies in the fact “How effective are the clinical trials?” Biomarkers conference embodied the research area of clinical trials and invited CROs. This integrated participation was aimed to help find out either the specific molecule or the effective molecular pathway causing the disease or disorder. The conference has tried grounding every aspect related to the Biomarkers Discovery covering the possible research areas. The highlights of the meeting were the eponymous lectures, delivered by Dr. Lawrence Greenfield from Affymetrix. His talk highlighted the application and implementation of Affymetrix OncoScan. Challenges and advances in absolute quantization of peptide hormones was discussed by Dr. Eduard Rogatsky, where as Dr. Tao Chen shared his views about MicroRNAs in biofluids as biomarker for drug-induced toxicity. Dr. Ruo-Pan Huang conferred his knowledge upon protein biomarker discovery and validation and many other erudite talks were given during the conference.
