The immune system and its influences on human disease offer many important, complex, and challenging biomedical problems. It is increasingly clear that the immune system plays dual roles in a variety of human diseases where it both limits and contributes to disease progression. Understanding the immune system and its role in disease is, therefore, critical for improving the health of our community.

Scope and Importance:
The field of translational cancer is rapidly progressing, yet the systematic application of current knowledge to improve patient care remains a formidable challenge. National symposiums and Workshops provide a dedicated forum for the advancement, implementation and exchange of information about cancer and its allied areas. Around many National symposiums and Workshops are going to be held across the globe which includes “Tumor immunology”,” Translational cancer research. Emerging Antibody Generation Methods is a work shop conducted by Keystone symposia and many more.
Cancer immunology is a branch of immunology that studies interactions between the immune system and cancer cells. It is a growing field of research that aims to discover innovative cancer immuno therapies to treat and retard progression of the disease. The immune response, including the recognition of cancer-specific antigens, is of particular interest in the field as knowledge gained drives the development of targeted therapy and tumor marker-based diagnostic. The host was given a better chance at survival if the cancer tissue showed infiltration of inflammatory cells, in particular those prompting lymphocytic reactions. The results yielded suggest some extent of anti-tumour immunity is present in colorectal cancers in humans.
Cancer is a malignant growth or tumour resulting from an uncontrolled division of cells. Cancer is the second most common cause of death in the European Union. Cancer of the breast and lung cancers is the leading cancer types in European males and females. The burden of new cancer cases in 2010 was estimated to be around 3 millions, in European counties to 53% of this load. The burden of cancer is increasing worldwide despite advances in cancer diagnosis and treatment. However, the worldwide cancer statistics depict that 14.1 million adults in the world were diagnosed with cancer and 1.7million deaths occurred in 2012 in Europe and 7.4 millions globally.
