Occupational Health-2012 Report
The 1st International Conference on Occupational Health & Safety Summit, hosted by the OMICS Group was held during September 5-7, 2012 at DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Center City, USA. Generous response and active participation was received from the Organizing Committee Members, Chair and Co-chair and Editorial Board Members of OMICS Group Journals as well as from various Universities such as Harvard University, Michigan University, Loma Linda University etc., and more; researchers and leaders from NIOSH and JNIOSH government organizations and delegates from private and government sectors, made this conference as one of the successful and productive events in 2012.
The conference was carried out through various sessions, in which the discussions were held on the following scientific tracks:
- Track 1: Health Informatics
- Track 2: New Trends in Biological Informatics
- Track 3: Medical Informatics
- Track 4: Occupational Disease and its Impacts
- Track 5: Occupational Medicine
- Track 6: Agricultural Health and Safety
- Track 7: Gross Motor Development (Occupational Therapy)
- Track 8: Physical Health (Occupational)
- Track 9: Infectious Disease and Epidemiology
- Track 10: Occupational Hygiene
- Track 11: Basics of Preventive Techniques
- Track 12: Current Issues in OH&S
The conference was initiated with an Opening Ceremony, which was given by Dr. Richard R Roach, Michigan State University, USA and followed by Key-note speakers:

Dr. Sultan Ayoub Meo, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia
The above mentioned keynote speakers gave their energetic and fruitful contributions at Occupational Health-2012.
All accepted abstracts have been indexed in OMICS Group Journal of Community Medicine & Health Education as a special issue.
We are also obliged to various outside experts, company representatives and other eminent personalities who supported the conference by facilitating the discussion forums. Our sincere thanks to Organizing Committee Members for their gracious presence, support and assistance towards Occupational Health-2012 and with their unique feedback. OMICS Group would like to announce the "2nd International Conference and Exhibition on Occupational Health & Safety" to be held at China May 21-22, 2013.
