Recommended Conferences for Lung Disease

Lung Disease

As per available reports about 12Relevant journals, 14Conferences, 11Workshops are presently dedicated exclusively to breathing disorder and about 352 articles are being published on Lung Disease.

Lung diseases are some of the most common medical conditions in the world. Tens of millions of people suffer from lung disease in the U.S. Smoking, infections, and genetics are responsible for most lung diseases. The lungs are part of a complex apparatus, expanding and relaxing thousands of times each day to bring in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide. Lung disease can result from problems in any part of this system.

OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events Every Year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The conference series website will provide you list and details about the conference organize worldwide.

Scope and Importance:

The definition of Lung disease is defined as inflammation in the lungs. This inflammation can happen suddenly (acute) or develop over a more gradual period of time (chronic). Pneumonia is generally less common in cats than dogs, and is usually not a disease to be worried about in healthy animals. Most often, pneumonia develops as a secondary problem to an underlying disease that has caused the lungs and airways to be compromised and not function as they should. The underlying causes of pneumonia usually fall under one of three broad categories to include: infectious, inflammatory, or cancer. Each of these categories will be defined in detail later in this handout.

Lung Diseases Affecting the Airways: The trachea (windpipe) branches into tubes called bronchi, which in turn branch to become progressively smaller tubes throughout the lungs. Diseases that affect the airways include: Asthma: The airways are persistently inflamed, and may occasionally spasm, causing wheezing and shortness of breath. Allergies, infections, or pollution can trigger asthma's symptoms. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD): Lung conditions defined by an inability to exhale normally, which causes difficulty breathing. Chronic bronchitis: A form of COPD characterized by a chronic productive cough. Emphysema: Lung damage allows air to be trapped in the lungs in this form of COPD. Difficulty blowing air out is its hallmark. Acute bronchitis: A sudden infection of the airways, usually by a virus. Cystic fibrosis: A genetic condition causing poor clearance of mucus from the bronchi. The accumulated mucus results in repeated lung infections.

Market Analysis:

The United Kingdom respiratory care market, Based on anatomical features, the respiratory system is segmented into upper respiratory tract and lower respiratory tract. The upper respiratory tract comprises pharynx, larynx, and nasal passages, while the lower respiratory tract includes trachea, lungs, and bronchi. Respiratory disease is a medical condition that affects the structure and organs associated with respiration or breathing. Equipment used to detect pulmonary abnormalities hold immense potential due to increasing prevalence of various respiratory diseases such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia. Moreover, growing geriatric population and technological advancements would drive the global respiratory disease testing market. However, low adoption rate of digital radiography and portable spirometers are projected to hold back the growth of respiratory disease testing market from 2014 to 2022. The global respiratory disease testing market was valued at USD 2,326.5 million in 2013 and is estimated to reach USD 3,143.3 million in 2022, expanding at a CAGR of 3.4% from 2014 to 2022. For instance, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published in 2012 that around 18.7 million adults in the U.K. were suffering from asthma. The American Lung Association states that COPD is the third leading cause of death in the U.K.
