Recommended Conferences for Fat Cells

Fat Cells

As per available reports about 2411 Conference proceedings, 389 workshops are presently dedicated exclusively to Fat cells and  1041 Articles are being published on Fat cells.

Adipocytes, also known as lipocytes and fat cells, are the cells that primarily compose adipose tissue, specialized in storing energy as fat. There are two types of adipose tissue, white adipose tissue (WAT) and brown adipose tissue (BAT), which are also known as white fat and brown fat, respectively, and comprise two types of fat cells Brown fat cells or plurivacuolar cells are polygonal in shape. Unlike white fat cells, these cells have considerable cytoplasm, with lipid droplets scattered throughout.

As adults, obese people do not have more fat cells than thin people, but their fat cells are larger. The same is true in reverse: When an obese or overweight person loses weight, the fat cells shrink. But the number of fat cells doesn't change, just their size. Large fat cells have been linked to some of the chronic health conditions related to obesity, such as diabetes.  Because of physical problems like improper functioning of Endocrine system such as thyroid disorders obesity occurs.  There are many health risks associated with obesity, controlling obesity helps in developing high nutrition values and healthy life style.

OMICS International Organizes 1000+ Global Events Every Year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open access journals which contains over 100000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board and organizing committee members. The conference series website will provide you list and details about the conference organize worldwide.

Scope and Importance:

Adipocytes were considered to be little more than storage cells for fat. What we now know, however, is that adipocytes are a critical component of metabolic control and endocrine organs that have both good and bad effects. This remarkable understanding is allowing us to more clearly define the role adipocytes play in health and in obesity and how inflammatory mediators act as signaling molecules in this process. Moreover, on a molecular level, we are beginning to comprehend how such variables as hormonal control; exercise, food intake, and genetic variation interact and result in a given phenotype.

Adipocytes are critical for health as well as being repositories of free fatty acids (FFAs). Second, adipocytes release hormones that, in lean individuals at least, modulate body fat mass. Third, as a person gets heavier and the adipocytes enlarge, these control mechanisms become dysregulated, macrophages accumulate in the adipose tissue, and inflammation ensues. Finally, the regulators of FFA storage and oxidation in adipocytes and the periphery are critical regulators of metabolic homeostasis.

Market Analysis:

From 2011 to 2014 there is a sharp increase in total number of adipose cell-based clinical trials worldwide. It jumped more than 3 times (from 11 in 2011 to 40 in 2014). The number of academic-based trials remained flat in the last 3 years. However, there was a big increase in industry-sponsored trials in 2014.
