5th International Conference on Clinical & Experimental Cardiology
April 27-29, 2015 Philadelphia, USA

Theme: Blooming landscapes in cardio research

Cardiology is a forte of inner pharmaceutical managing issue of the heart be it human or creature. The field incorporates therapeutic analysis and treatment of intrinsic heart imperfections, coronary vein infection, heart disappointment, valvular coronary illness and electrophysiology. Cardiology is concerned with the typical usefulness of the heart and the deviation from a sound heart. Numerous issue include the heart itself yet some are outside of the heart.

Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the world and the leading cause of death in the United States. About 600,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year-that’s one in every 4 deaths. More than half of the deaths due to heart disease in 2009 were in men. Over the past 10 years for which statistics are available, the death rate from heart disease has fallen about 39 percent but the burden and risk factors remain alarmingly high. Cardiovascular diseases would be the largest cause of death and disability in by 2020 as per a World Health Organization (WHO) report.

Importance & Scope:

A prospective survey of patients with valvular heart disease (VHD):

Coronary angiography was used in 85.2% of patients before intervention. The Euro Heart Survey (EHS) program has been initiated order to provide quantitative information on cardiovascular disease. To prevent the incidence of cardiovascular (CV) disease, by implementing strategies to reduce the burden of CV risk factors and incidence of CV disease, and develop appropriate models for healthy CV lifestyle. 600,000 people die of heart disease in the United States. Cardiovascular diseases would be the largest cause of death and disability in by 2020 as per a World Health Organization (WHO) report. Smoke kills 600,000 people every year out of which 100,000 are children and 87% of deaths due to second hand smoke are due to cardiovascular diseases. Adult Cardiac Surgery provides state-of-the-art surgical care for patients with all types of adult cardiac disease.  This section performs approximately 600-650 adult cardiac procedures annually. From 2007 to 2010, the number of coronary artery bypasses in Ohio dropped from 34,785 to 27,384. In that same time, the number of angioplasties (a less-invasive approach to eliminating blockages) increased from 12,047 to 15,050. Better medications have helped prevent blockages that require bypass surgery, and less-invasive approaches - particularly stents that hold vessels open. It has made collaboration with medical specialists.

Why Philadelphia?

Drexel Cardiology – delivering premier cardiac care in Philadelphia, patients access to the latest therapies and technologies including state-of-the-art ventricular assist devices (VADs). Penn Heart and Vascular Center, University of Pennsylvania–Penn Presbyterian (HUP/PPMC) is now ranked 7th in the nation for Cardiology & Heart Surgery by U.S. News & World Report and ranked 1 in the Philadelphia region and 15th in the Nation, Out of 143 hospitals for heart care and heart surgery [Source: Reference1].
