Pediatrics-2012 Report
The 2nd International Conference on Pediatrics and Gynecology took place at Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre, Hyderabad, India on 24th-26th September, 2012. The Conference with the theme "Sharing spectrum of knowledge and understanding with Pediatrics and Gynecology" was a huge success.

The conference with title Pediatrics-2012 highlighted the current research work in the field of Pediatrics, Gynecology and Pharmacology as well.

Before we start with the closer look towards the conference we would like to express our gratitude and are obliged towards our Organizing Committee Members for conveying such an immeasurable support and suggestions.

Pediatrics-2012 initiated with the honourable guests Dr. P. Syamasundar Rao, Dr. Brojendra Agarwala, Dr. Serge Bottari and Dr. Indra Taneja acknowledging the audience about conference, its importance and suggestions, forwarded by eminent keynote speeches by: Dr. A. Laxmiah, Deputy Director (Scientist E), Epidemiologist, National Institute of Nutrition who presented a talk on "Childhood obesity and its prevention strategies", Dr. P. Syamasundar Rao, Emeritus Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at University of Texas-Houston Medical School, USA proposed a speech on "Noninvasive evaluation of neonates with suspected heart disease", Dr. Smita Mishra, secretary of cardiology chapter of IAP and Editor In Chief of www.cardioiap.org enlightened us by her presentation on Mother and child health: New frontier of global strategy for global health for all, Dr. Serge P. Bottari, Professor of Cell Biology at Grenoble University Medical School, France, converged about the Neonatal hypoglycemia: Clinical relevance.

The Pediatrics-2012 cited many eminent Professors, Doctors, Industrial delegates, Interns and Students. Speakers debated their work areas and the main conclusions of the session circled around the challenges they overcame through their research. The Key issues urged the audience to look into the research far better with concurrent sessions and interactive panel discussions.

There was active participation of interns and students from medicine and science background for poster session which began with brainstorming the key issues and having a good impact on judges.

Last but not least we are very thankful to all, co-ordinating the conference from start till the grand completion of our conference. The emphasis of this event has been very thorough and excellent which has led us to stepping with un- ending enthusiasm towards our next conference Pediatrics-2013.
