Hydrology-2014 Report

The 3^rd International Conference on Hydrology & Meteorology, hosted by the OMICS Group was successfully held during September 15-16, 2014 at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Hyderabad, India. Hydrology-2014 aimed at “Building the Future with Novel Technologies in Hydrology & Meteorology” and the conference brought together many eminent scientists from across the globe in which various significant research areas were related to Hydrology were discussed in depth to provide up-to-date information. Also, the meeting provided an outstanding platform to communicate and interact with International experts around the world which resulted in massive exchange of knowledge leading to global exposure.

Generous response and active participation was received from the Editorial Board Members of OMICS Group Journals as well as from scientists, researchers and leaders from various societies, government organizations and student delegates who made this conference as one of most successful and productive events in 2014 from OMICS Group.

The conference was initiated with a series of invited lectures delivered by both Honorable Guests and members of the keynote forum. The list included Dr. Mohiuddin Ali Khan, Temple University, USA; Dr. Z. Fuat Toprak, Dicle University, Turkey; Dr. Ajit Govind, National Institute of Agricultural Research [INRA], France; Dr. Anantharaj Ramalingam, University of Malaya, Malaysia and Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Hyderabad, India

The Keynote sessions, invited lectures by honorable guests, and all the other sessions highlighted the current challenges, issues, opportunities, innovations and ideas in Hydrology-2014.  The theme touched upon various topics like Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Geophysics and Geosciences, Water Pollution and Waste Water Treatment, Watershed Studies, Meteorology, Oceanography, Human Biometeorology and Emerging Focus in Hydrology Research.
