OMICS Group organized an International Conference on Animal & Dairy Sciences during July 23-24, 2013 at Embassy Suites Las Vegas, USA with the theme "Breaking down Barriers and Venturing into New Realms in Animal Science". Animal Science-2013 conference has been appreciated with a huge gathering from more than 20 countries.

The members of the organizing committee sought to construe the area of Animal & Dairy Sciences as widely as possible. The speaker and paper presentations were organized into 10 tracks and 62 sessions to cover the wide variety of topics like major advancements in the veterinary and dairy research and animal management issues currently being debated around the world.

In the keynote sessions, Daniel Y C Fung, Kansas State University, USA gave us a fascinating insight into “Rapid methods and automation in microbiology: 25 years of trends and predictions to the future”. His presentation traced the early developments in the field of Microbiology from improving conventional methods. This was followed by another keynote session on “The multiple factors contributing to dynamic uncertainty of future Livestock production in developed and developing countries” by Elie K. Barbour American University of Beirut, Lebanon. The keynote sessions and all the other sessions were very enlightening and pitched the theme of the conference. Also, Students from different universities participated ardently in the poster presentations
