Multimedia-2016 Past Conference Report

Conference Series LLC is delighted to announce successful consummation of the 2^nd Global Summit and Expo on Multimedia & Applications which was held in London, UK during August 15-16, 2016 in collaboration with International Game Developers Association (IGDA), IFERS & sponsored by SERSC. The theme for the conference this year was “Recent Innovation and Exploration in the Trends of Multimedia Technologies”.

Multimedia & Applications, taking advantage of sophisticated software and innovative computer technologies is a fast-growing arena — Virtual Reality and Simulations, Computer Graphics, Animation, Education and Training, Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition, Image processing, Health Care, Leisure and Entertainment. The main objective of this conference was to offer a view of the state of the art and present a selected group of emerging technologies.

Multimedia-2016 welcomed academicians, professionals, animators, artists, game developers and researchers around the globe to the London City. It was an amazing 2-day event addressing the sessions with key issues and research highlighting; Imaging and Image Processing, Human-Computer Interaction, Visualization, Multimedia in Computer Games, Computer Vision and Mobile Multimedia, Multimedia Tools and Applications, Multimedia Signal Processing, Multimedia Health Computation and its Applications, Multimedia Systems and Applications.

Highlights from the conference included the Keynote Forum: Prof. Dr. Chin Y Suen, Concordia University, Canada; Jamie Denham, Sliced Bread Animation, UK, Dr. Vijayan K Asari, University of Dayton, USA, Robert S Laramee, Swansea University, UK & Prof. Yoichiro Kawaguchi, world renowned Japanese Computer Graphic Artist. Followed by the Keynote Forum, the conference witnessed interesting talks and presentations of eminent speakers from both Academia and Industry. All accepted abstracts have been indexed in the Journal of Information Technology & Software Engineering as a special issue.
